Itinerary

Full program

Boarding at the port of Milazzo at 8.45 am, departure at 9.00 am. While sailing, it will be possible to admire the island of Vulcano from the sea.
You will arrive in Lipari, where you will make a stop of about 2 hours to allow the independent visit.
While staying on the island, we recommend visiting the Lipari Castle, a sixteenth-century building surrounded by the walls built during the reign of Charles V.
At the complex of the Castle there is the Regional Archaeological Museum "Bernabò Brea" which houses finds dating back to the Neolithic and related to marine archeology. It is possible to walk along Corso Vittorio Emanuele, a point of reference for shopping on the island, where you can find several points of sale, restaurants and typical clubs.
In Lipari there is the Cathedral of San Bartolomeo, the main place of worship of all the Aeolian Islands.
We also point out the geophysical observatory in San Benedetto, from which you can enjoy the view of Vulcano and Vulcanello.
In the early afternoon, we will leave to reach the island of Panarea. Stop at the port of S. Pietro for about 2 hours, to allow autonomous exploration. Panarea has few beaches within walking distance. Among these, we mention the beach of Cala Zimmari, the only sandy beach on the island and the bay of Cala Junco. It is also possible to visit the prehistoric village of Capo Milazzese, dating back to 1400 BC, reachable on foot in about 45 minutes, or with the typical electric taxis of Panarea and the Church of San Pietro.
In the evening, we will embark again to take a tour by sea to admire the micro archipelago in front of the island and continue towards the Sciara del Fuoco. Here you will have the opportunity to see the explosive eruptions of the volcano from the boat. Return to the port of Milazzo scheduled at around 22:00.
