Full program

Day 1 Arrival in Milazzo. You will reach the hotel where the room was reserved. Check-in for room assignment. The day will be dedicated to the free exploration of the city. The city of Milazzo, a well-known Sicilian seaside destination, preserves historical remains relating to different periods, from the Greek to the medieval one, testifying to the various peoples who dominated these lands and the historical battles that were fought. During the stay, we recommend a visit to the Castle of Milazzo, the largest fortified citadel in Sicily and its ancient village. Inside the walls, there are the Ancient Cathedral and the Palazzo dei Giurati. The Piscina di Venere is a natural pool that fills up with the high tide between the rocks, which is located at the end of a walk in the middle of nature, where you can take breathtaking photos. We recommend a visit to the "Butterfly House", a tropical greenhouse that offers the opportunity to closely observe some of the most spectacular butterflies in the world in an environment that reproduces their natural habitat. It is also possible to climb to the crater of the Stromboli volcano up to the observatory at a height of 400 meters.
