Departure from the port of Messina by bus The first stop will be Castelmola, one of the most beautiful villages in Italy, 550 meters s.l.m. The view from the panoramic balcony gives us on the one hand the view of Mount Etna, which with its 3,330 meters of height is the highest active volcano in Europe, and on the other a sea view on the Ionian coast with the magnificent bay of Giardini-Naxos, the first Greek colony in Sicily. The medieval charm of these places inspired the English novel “The Lover of Lady Chatterley” by D.H. Lawrence, set between Castelmola and Taormina. Then we will continue our excursion Taormina & Castelmola, with a walking tour through the Corso Umberto in Taormina, where you can breathe a completely different atmosphere with an explosion of colors, sounds and flavors typical of Sicily. We will let you discover what to visit in Taormina: the enchanting Greek Theatre, churches, noble palaces and exclusive boutiques, as well as beautiful views from which to take some fantastic photos! You will not remain impassive to the smells of restaurants, where you can enjoy a stop to refresh and delight your palate with the flavors of our land.
