Once in Milazzo, you will embark on a mini-cruise to Panarea and Stromboli. Depart from the port of Milazzo at 12.30 p.m. for the picturesque island of Panarea, a magical island that holds archaeological and natural treasures. You can explore the prehistoric village of Punta Milazzese, which dates back to the Middle Bronze Age (1500-1300 BC) and can be reached on foot in about 45 minutes or by Panarea’s typical electric taxis. Reach Cala Zimmari, a secluded bay nestled among the rocks. With its crystal-clear waters and characteristic red sand, this corner of paradise will provide you with moments of absolute relaxation and serenity. Enjoy the sun at Cala Junco, one of the most beautiful inlets in the Aeolian archipelago. Here, you will feel as if you are suspended between sky and sea, surrounded by rocks that give it a peculiar U-shape.
Next, set sail for the island of Stromboli, the island of fire. While sailing, you can admire the picturesque village of Ginostra, isolated from the rest of the island and only accessible by sea, and the imposing Strombolicchio, a volcanic rock islet on which a lighthouse was installed for navigation. Once landed, reach the beaches with their characteristic black sand, such as the Forgia Vecchia beach, a small bay with crystal-clear waters and a quiet, relaxing environment, and the Ficogrande beach, an equipped beach ideal for families. Then head to the church of San Vincenzo, from whose square you can admire a beautiful panoramic view.
Stromboli is known worldwide for its constant volcanic activity that gives spectacular explosive eruptions. The most fascinating moment of the tour is reserved for the Sciara del Fuoco. At sunset, the boat will pass in front of this slope to witness from the sea the impressive spectacle of the explosive eruptions that this perpetually active volcano gives us. Its incandescent lava will pour into the sea, creating a surreal and spectacular scenario. You will feel truly blessed to witness one of the most exciting natural phenomena in the world.
At the end of your beautiful mini-cruise to Panarea and Stromboli, you will return to the port of Milazzo, where you will find your driver waiting to take you back to your place of departure (Taormina, Letojanni, Recanati).
