Transfer Milazzo > Catania Airport

The shuttle service connects the port of Milazzo and Catania Fontanarossa Airport, and vice versa (click here for Catania Airport-Milazzo connection).

Passengers are transferred by shuttle, minibuses, private coaches and cars.

The Milazzo > Catania Airport connection by Clarissa Viaggi is a collective transfer service. The round trip from the port of Milazzo to Catania Airport operates every day from Monday to Sunday, including public holidays, and is available all year round, from January to December.

Please note: night rides times may vary by ± 30 minutes.

In the Spring/Summer season (1 April – 30 October), the connection is operated with 7 daily round trips from the port of Milazzo to Catania Fontanarossa Airport, with pre-established timetables and meeting points with the driver.

In the Autumn/Winter season (1 November – 30 March), the shuttle bus runs 4 round trips per day from the port of Milazzo to Fontanarossa Airport in Catania, with pre-arranged times and meeting points with the driver.

The Port of Milazzo – Catania Airport shuttle bus is a quick transfer service. The vehicles used for the transfer will follow the motorway route, with a journey time in regular traffic of approximately 2 hours.

Catania Fontanarossa Airport is the closest airport to Milazzo, where you can board to reach the Aeolian Islands. There is a large influx in the summer, so we recommend booking well in advance in order to take advantage of the transfer service.

The collective shuttle connection from the port of Milazzo to Catania airport is carried out aboard recently registered, air-conditioned vehicles. Drivers with long experience in the transport sector drive brand new buses, minibuses, and small coaches.

Driver-Passenger meeting point

The driver will display a YELLOW sign.

Upon arrival at the meeting point, the driver will assist the passenger in arranging luggage onto the vehicle designated for the transfer. Once all passengers have occupied their assigned seats, the driver will start the journey at the scheduled time. Those not present at least 30 minutes before the scheduled departure time cannot benefit from the transfer. They will not be entitled to any reimbursement of the sum paid.

Booking procedure

Reservations must be received by Clarissa Viaggi at least 48 hours in advance of the departure time by e-mail or fax. The reservation should include name, day and time of service, number of passengers, details of the flight, and telephone number.

Once the reservation confirmation has been received, the passenger shall pay by credit card, bank transfer, PayPal, or Postepay. Then please send a copy of the payment to Clarissa Viaggi by e-mail or fax and wait for the confirmation of the service.
NOTE: Always use the same e-mail address.

Keep your mobile phone switched on immediately after disembarking (plane and/or hydrofoil).

Rules and conditions for purchasing the transfer service:

1. Any cancellations must be received by e-mail at least 3 days before the services. The passenger will be entitled to a refund of 70% if communicated within 3 days before. Otherwise, the passenger will not be entitled to any refund and will forfeit the amount paid.
2. If there are any delays in arriving at the meeting point with the driver, the passenger shall not be entitled to any reimbursement of the amount paid.
3. If there is only one passenger on the ride, the passenger will be required to pay the driver a supplement of an additional €25.
4. HARD-AND-FAST RULE FOR THE PASSENGER: THE SHUTTLE CANNOT WAIT BEYOND THE SCHEDULED TIME!

Reservation required at least two days before services.

1. Report to the MEETING POINT 30 minutes before departure. Otherwise, passengers lose the right to transport and no refund can be claimed.
2. Any variations requested after payment will incur an additional charge of €10.00 per person. It shall be paid before embarkation by contacting the agency.
