Taormina

Taormina is one of the most famous tourist resorts in Sicily. Thanks to its position on the sea and the vast artistic heritage that distinguish it, it attracts millions of tourists from all over the world every year. The Greek Roman Theater is the most important monument in the city, it is a place rich in history and stage for the numerous events that it hosts every year, including the famous Taormina Film Fest. The Duomo, a 1400 building, offers evidence of various renovations over the centuries. In the square in front there is the seventeenth-century fountain surmounted by the emblem of the city. Corso Umberto is the main street that crosses the entire town from Porta Catania to Porta Messina, for a walk immersed in the heart of the city.
